Amnesty International Annual Conference 2011
RTS Communications have worked with Amnesty International for a number of years now, providing AV solutions for their events.
For the release of their Annual Report in 2011, we worked with them to ensure that the messages they wanted to deliver to their audience were immediately heard, loud and clear - irrespective of where in the world somebody might be listening. To enable this, RTS Communications provided a realtime webstream of the complete conference using the live audio and video feeds that we were producing within the venue for the 100+ delegates and press that were in London.
As the content of the conference was embargoed for 24 hours, the link for the webstream was only sent to 180 invited members of the press and interested parties - but these viewers were watching far and wide around the globe.
With a specifically designed webpage and an email plus Twitter feed enabled for the web participants to ask questions, the event was a great success - and the positive feedback on the live stream was instantaneous!
